Island Networking 28th September at 8:00am

FACE to FACE and ONLINE this WEEK....

Posted by Martin Spence on Sep 24, 2021

At Island Networking this week, (Face to Face and Online, Tuesday, 28th September, 8:00am), PLAN B! Duncan Pearse has rescheduled for the 9th of November so we have Chris Wood from OVO Spaces to entertain the Islanders!
Chris has recently thrown caution to the wind and cycled from Liverpool back to Sheffield with 2 weeks preparation; find out whether he succeeded on Tuesday and what makes him tick.

Remember, it's both Face to Face, down at the Kelham Island Cafe, S3 8RY, and Online: back to the HYBRID model. So you can choose how you want to interact. Please invite friends and colleagues to join in the fun. Online Tickets or Face to Face Tickets

If you would like to have a 1 to 1 meeting then book a slot after 10:00am on Tuesday, a long term business relationship starts with the first step, a step we can all take on Tuesday. The first step of many to building a trusted, valuable relationship with potential clients, colleagues or collaborators!

Our guest speaker this week is Chris Wood from OVO Spaces.

"Born and raised in Sheffield, 26 years of age, a nickname from Toy Story and a massive passion and interest for commercial and residential property. Over the last 5 years, I have generated a real passion within the property industry. I loved the pressure of someone putting their trust in me to look after their biggest asset. With experience, I have developed my vision for the design side of properties. This enables me, when dealing with clients, to give them ideas of what the end product would look like and an estimated cost for the work required greatly increasing the chances of the property selling, or being let. I have a natural ability to build rapport quickly with Customers and Clients. I am constantly looking for opportunities to generate more business for the company I represent such as attending networking events. Networking events are something I have enjoyed since the age of 18. I believe it’s a great way to interact with different businesses, being remembered, and a successful way for people to pass work to one another whilst building and maintaining trust within a relationship over a long period of time. Outside of work I invest a lot of time in sports which include captaining a Sunday league football team, playing badminton and darts. On Monday nights I run a weekly poker night with a cracking set of guys and over the years we’ve built up really good friendships."
